Pazo de Arretén

At this point of the route, we come across the building called Pazo de Arretén, which belonged to Rosalía’s maternal ancestors. It was built in the 16th century by the Bermúdez de Castro family. It is now privately owned and houses the Pazo de Arretén winery. Its vineyards produce the grapes used to make Pazo de Arretén wine, which belongs to the Rías Baixas (Ribeira do Ulla subzone) Designation of Origin, and St. Petroni vermouth.

Group visits can be arranged. Contact the Pazo de Arretén winery (hotel@hscala.com) for more information.
